CO2 Class Calculator: German Lkw-Maut Toll
Compare the annual Lkw-Maut toll at your current CO2 class against classes 2, 3 and 4 — for one vehicle. Now for Germany, Austria and the Netherlands — using each country's official rates.
Calculated from publicly published tariffs. Whether your vehicle actually qualifies for a better class can only be determined from its conformity certificate (CoC) data.
Frequently asked questions
Is this calculation legally binding?
No. This is an indicative estimate based on publicly published Lkw-Maut tariffs (BFStrMG Annex 1) — useful for a quick sanity check, but it does not replace a full audit, which additionally verifies the conformity certificate (CoC) data and registration date before a claim is filed.
What should I do if the calculator shows a possible difference?
Don't file a reclassification request yourself based only on this calculation — contact us and send the invoice plus the vehicle's documents. In a free initial review we'll confirm whether the vehicle genuinely qualifies for a better class.
Why is the most expensive class applied to some vehicles?
Without submitted conformity certificate (CoC) data, the Toll Collect / EETS operator automatically applies the most expensive (class 1) rate and never upgrades it on its own initiative — reclassification always has to be initiated by the carrier.
