Excise refund calculator
One country, one period, one quantity. Tell us how many litres your intermediary already claimed and you will also see the unclaimed part.
We only calculate for countries whose rate we have verified against an official source. Several EU states do not refund commercial diesel at all — that is not “unchecked”, it means there is nothing to claim.
Frequently asked questions
Why is no amount shown for my country?
There are two different reasons, and we keep them apart. Either that state does not refund commercial diesel at all — then there is nothing to claim; or a refund exists but we have not verified its rate against an official source — then money may be there, we simply cannot compute it yet.
Why does France need a region?
France abolished its weighted flat rate on 1 January 2026: the refund is calculated by the region where the fuel was bought. We never infer the region from a station name, because international networks operate in several places.
Does this result mean I will actually get this money?
No. It is an indicative calculation against a verified rate. The real outcome depends on vehicle eligibility (mass threshold, commercial use, place of establishment) and on whether the claim was filed in time — that is what the audit checks, not the calculator.
Can I calculate my whole fleet's annual figure here?
No, deliberately. The calculator always computes ONE case: one country, one period, one litre figure. Multiplying by fleet size or years would produce a number that looks precise but rests on assumptions about routes and purchase locations that we do not have.
