Is this calculation legally binding?

No. This is an indicative estimate based on the terms you entered — useful for a quick sanity check, but it does not replace a full audit, which additionally checks customs/other authority stops and the carrier's escalation rules.

What should I do if the calculator shows a possible difference?

Don't file a claim with the carrier yourself based only on this calculation — contact us and send the invoice plus the contract. In a free initial review we'll confirm whether it's worth filing a claim.

Why do I need to state the federal state, not just the country?

Public holidays in Germany vary at the federal-state level (e.g. Epiphany isn't observed in every state) — a single 'Germany' calendar would give an incorrect result. If your station's state calendar isn't yet confirmed in our system, no result is shown, rather than guessed.
