Audit modules run on a gain-share model: if we recover nothing, you pay nothing. Cargo Intelligence document extraction — a fixed monthly plan.

Why the different models: the audit only creates value when you actually recover an overpayment — so the fee is calculated on the result. Cargo Intelligence processes your document flow every month, regardless of whether an error is found in any given document — so the price is fixed, like any other tool.

Contract clause review (first step)

Before any audit — which checks your contract permits at all. We extract 27 clauses from the contract, each with a verbatim quote; they determine which checks we can run and which invoices are excluded because of the dispute deadline.

Fixed price, no success fee. If you move to the audit within 6 months, the review price is credited — the profile is needed for the audit anyway, and we do not do it twice. The annual re-review is included in continuous control if you have it.

4 core modules

Each module is a separate document type with its own extraction and checks. Selected immediately, with no approval step.

Add-ons to modules (activated immediately)

These four add-ons are NOT separate modules — they only extend the data of the module selected above with a new output (eFTI export, emissions report, etc.), without their own document type. No legal approval step — activated immediately with the order, if the corresponding module is selected above.

One-time reports (expression of interest, no obligation)

Both reports require your existing documents for a past period, which a newly created account doesn't yet have — by marking your interest, you'll actually order them in the client portal once you have enough data (the Fuel module is required).

6 additional modules (require admin approval)

These are ALSO full, standalone modules with their own documents and findings — not add-ons. The only difference from the four above: a personal contact is required before activation, because at least one of them involves legal risk or a conflict of interest (see each description). After you express interest, our team will reach out about activation.

* Prices exclude VAT. The document limit and modules apply to the whole company account, not per seat. Clients from other EU member states with a valid VAT number are subject to reverse charge. Invoices are issued in euros. Existing D&D audit clients get a 20% discount on any Cargo Intelligence plan. REST API access (programmatic document upload from your systems) is included only on the Enterprise plan — on Starter/Professional/Business, documents are uploaded through the client portal.

What happens next?

  1. Right after ordering, an invoice in PDF format with bank details arrives in your email.
  2. You pay the invoice by bank transfer.
  3. Once payment is received, we activate your account and send a login link to the client portal.

Frequently asked questions

What happens if I exceed the monthly document limit?

The service isn't stopped. Every additional document costs €0.35 — a soft limit, not a hard cutoff.

Can I change plans at any time?

Yes, any time through the client portal — the new plan replaces the current one immediately.

Where is our data processed and stored?

The core infrastructure runs on netcup GmbH (application, database) and Hetzner Online GmbH (document storage) servers in Nuremberg, Germany. For encrypted backups we use Akenes SA/Exoscale (Vienna, Austria). For document data extraction (AI recognition) we use Anthropic PBC (USA) — based on the EU standard contractual clauses (GDPR Art. 46). Details in the data processing agreement and the subprocessor list.

How long are my documents kept?

Original documents are kept for 24 months from upload, customs documents for 40 months. After the period expires the original file is deleted automatically, the data extracted from it remains. If you want a specific document removed earlier (GDPR Art. 17 right to erasure), contact us by email — there is currently no self-service delete button in the portal.
